Always learning. Always growing. Meet our doctors.

As a family business that’s owned and operated by two married chiropractors, we understand better than anyone the demands on your time and resources. Plus, we know the challenges the entire family faces when one member is not feeling their best. Our doctors are committed to always learning the latest chiropractic techniques and methods, as well as incorporating complete wellness offerings into their practice (such as dietary and therapeutic exercise regimens) to ensure that you and your whole family are able to achieve and maintain optimal wellness.

Dr. David Arthur

As a lifelong exercise and sports enthusiast himself, it’s no surprise that Dr. Arthur’s practice includes sports-related injuries and helping athletes achieve peak performance levels. In fact, he recently passed the American Board of Chiropractic Sports Physicians Certification Exam, becoming the only certified sports chiropractor in the Bothell, Kenmore, and Lake Forest Park areas. Dr. Arthur understands the value of integrating chiropractic care to balance the demands of sports on the body. He tells the story of a high school baseball pitcher who came in the day of a big game experiencing some discomfort. After treatment, the young man went on to win his game and has since incorporated regular treatments into his training program.

While Dr. Arthur enjoys the challenges of sports care, his greatest reward comes from helping patients with their everyday aches and pains. Sometimes these are truly debilitating pains, often the result of car accidents or other trauma. As Dr. Arthur points out, there is no such thing as a “small problem” as it relates to your comfort. For example, to someone who has trouble simply rolling over in bed at night, a proper treatment to increase mobility and eliminate pain can make a monumental difference in that person’s everyday life. So whether you sit at a desk all day or are training for a marathon, you’ll benefit from his meticulous diagnosis and thorough treatments.

Dr. Arthur’s “specialty” is—and will always be—helping people get back to enjoying everyday life.

Dr. Suzie Shay

It’s said that experience is the best teacher, even bad experiences. Dr. Shay can trace the empathy she feels toward her patients back to a series of traumatic injuries she suffered in multiple car accidents as a teenager. It was her own recovery through chiropractic care that grew into a calling, and the memory of her pain guides her own nurturing manner. She understands first-hand what it means to be in pain, and the often profound relief it brings when alleviated.

As a mother of two teenagers herself, she is also drawn to the challenge and rewards of helping women through the rigors of pregnancy (as well as babies following the rigors of birth). Whether it’s helping women who are having difficulty becoming pregnant by successfully employing techniques on the lumbar and pelvic regions, or working to help correctly turn breached babies for birth, Dr. Shay embraces the challenges—and joys!—of chiropractic pediatric care.

While chiropractic pediatrics continues to be an area of postgraduate study and professional emphasis, like Dr. Arthur she does not profess to be a “specialist” in a single area. Instead, Dr. Shay focuses on the unique needs of each individual patient and works to treat the whole person. Sometimes weight loss and dietary or nutritional counseling provide the greatest opportunity to improve a patient’s lifestyle, and Dr. Shay has expertise in all of these areas. You’ll always leave her office with a clear treatment plan and a feeling of confidence knowing that you’re getting the most comprehensive care imaginable.
